NEEDLEPOINT IS COOL Retreat:
This weekend Emily (Emily's Stitchery, Northbrook) and I are hosting our first ever retreat. Saturday the attendees will be spending the day with us and Sunday they will enjoy Emily's Stitchery. There will be lots of pop-up vendors and our very own Kris will be debuting her new line of canvases under her "Flying Stitches Ndlpt" brand. I can't give too much away, but here are a couple of sneak peaks!

Painters Thread by Threadnuts:
Full of beautiful threads in 40 colors this thread trunk show has something for everyone. From Silk Perle to Braided Rayon (think Neon Rays but overdyed) to Crewel Wool to Silk Ribbon (4mm and 7mm) there is so much to pick from. There are two distinct palletes - 30 based on famous painter's palettes and 10 based on island life and nature.

WE'RE STARTING A STITCH NIGHT:
Please join us on Thursday, May 9th for our first ever "Stitch Night" from 6-8pm. Cami (our newest needlepoint expert) and I will be hosting whoever would like to join us twice a month for some evening stitching. You bring the project and we supply the company. If you are interested in attending feel free to call the shop with any questions or just to let us know you would like to attend. The schedule will be every two weeks:

June 6, June 20
July 11, July 25
Just a quick note, we will not be hosting any open stitching on the following days this month:
