Busy, Busy, Busy!
I hope you are all still hanging in there. The prospect of another 5 weeks of this "shelter in place" is just a little daunting, but I am glad that I get to help you make it a little bit more bearable. Today I spent a large part of my day emailing thread selections and then discussing those choices over the phone. I apologize if you called and I didn't answer - please try again. I can't wait to see what all your finished projects look like! This brings me to a very important bit of news today:
FINISHING DEADLINE - our finishing deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery is now July 20th.
If you've got pieces ready for the finisher, please do not hesitate to drop them off using curbside delivery. The current turn-a-round time as of today is a minimum of 16 weeks. Things are moving a little slower for multiple reasons so if you are finished with your projects please bring them on over. Make sure to call and double check that I am here. 630-946-6216.
I am hoping we will have some finishing classes scheduled once we are open for walk-in hours. I am not sure what the class size will be, but our teachers will try to accommodate you as much as possible. Stay tuned for more information in the future.
EXCLUSIVE IS ALMOST READY:
Just like you all, I sometimes miscalculate how much thread I need. In this case, it was black beads from Sundance: F401 to be exact! I will have our exclusive done by the end of the week now that the day has been saved by my friend Megan from Needlepoint Clubhouse in St. Louis. I can't wait to debut it via the newsletter for all of you!
Our Alice Peterson virtual trunk show ends Thursday! I could find a new favorite every time I look at her website. These four remind me that not all memories are made by traveling to fabulous faraway places. Sometimes it just a phone call or a drive on the perfect Spring day.
Let me know if any of you had your resolve challenged. You've got two more days for 20% off!
More to come tomorrow, Deb
